Audits of Technical Building Systems

Since July 2024, audits of the technical systems of buildings have been mandatory, in accordance with the Energy Certification System (D.L. No. 101-D/2020). Audits are carried out by Systems Inspection Technicians (TIS).

• Covered systems:
  – Air conditioning
  – Sanitary hot water
  – Solar thermal systems
• Inspection frequency:
  – Every 4 years (70 kW to 250 kW)
  – Every 2 years (above 250 kW)
• The assessment includes:
  – Real energy efficiency
  – Parameterization and operating conditions
  – Conservation and maintenance

After each inspection, TDGI issues a technical report with recommendations for improvement.

TDGI has accredited Systems Inspection Technicians (TIS) with extensive experience in the sector.
